Free Camping in 1,506 State Wildlife Management Areas - a case by case permission scenario and list of Species of Greatest Concern

There is Free primitive dispersed camping in the national and state forests.... but also in the WMAs (pending permission)....   you can camp at many state-owned wildlife management areas (WMAs). Some larger and popular areas, such as Mille Lacs WMA, contain designated camping areas. I always thought camping was prohibited at your run-of-the mill WMAs, which can range from a few hundred acres to several thousand. It is, unless you get permission. Information on this is tricky to find, but here’s the official state rule: “A person may not camp on or remain in a vehicle overnight in any wildlife management area, except by permit or where posted for this use by the commissioner.” Said permit isn’t reserved for wildlife researchers or others with some high aims; a bunch of guys hoping to bag some grouse, or deer, or what have you, can seek a permit. The way to do it is to contact the Department of Natural Resources’ wildlife manager for the WMA in question. Contact info is us

Pollarding Willows - you harvest up off the main trunk - for cultivating Shiitake mushrooms and saving the trees!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzrWVOPrhe8 I started pollarding the willow trees - I think I got better results from the Alder but that should have a similar reaction to Pollarding I think. So this is very promising to have a regrowing harvest that is sustainable since it prevents the tree from falling over due to the trunk getting too big!! That is what I really needed to know about pollarding. I'm going to use coppiced "stakes" for the deer fencing from the Willow and Alder trees. I've been watching vids on coppicing - and how this actually keeps the willow trunks from getting too big. The Willow trees fall over if the trunks are too big - so better to coppice or cut higher up the trunk - cut off. Same with Alder.  These are Nitrogen-fixing trees so they will hold up the fencing to keep out the deer but they will also improve the soil for the Hazelnut trees. They grow from cuttings - I can do that for next year's Shiitake harvest also! So it's pretty exci

Nature participates in Nature: "Objective Active Information" Basil J. Hiley papers on Mind and Matter: a "Novel Form of Energy"

This is a fascinating work by Professor Basil J. Hiley - he reviews many of the other proposals first....  In addition, the particles in the front of the packet have their kinetic energy increased, so that they can actually penetrate the barrier without violating the law of energy conservation. In other words: although the total energy is strictly conserved, there is a redistribution of energy between the kinetic energy, the quantum potential energy and the classical potential energy. The interchange of energy between these various qualities of energy allows the particles to penetrate the barrier without violating the conservation of energy   https://www.researchgate.net/publication/233487976_Can_Mind_Affect_Matter_Via_Active_Information/link/00463521f1ae7cdac1000000/download  the equations include a novel form of energy
